The latest DLC for Borderlands, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, is designed to be TOUGH as nails. Gearbox seems to relish in punishing you in wave after wave of increasingly powerful enemies, and you got to survive up to 100 waves to get the good loot (an additional skill point.) You want to make sure you have the best strategy going in, otherwise, you got to replay the whole thing over again. That's enough to drive any gamer into fits of rage.

Based on 20 hours of play experience already with a full team, I've put together some key strategies on prepping yourself for this endurance challenge. Here are 10 tips that will greatly aid you in combat. For the sake of your flying joystick, and broken TV, please take my advice. [nextpage]

If you haven't heard of CrimeCraft, it wouldn't be a surprise. Many games get made and barely make a blip on the radar. In an attempt to drum up some more business and awareness, Vogster, the game publisher, recently changed their MMO action shooter CrimeCraft into a free-2-play model last month, a sign that they are struggling with the game’s receptiveness in the marketplace. It’s unfortunate when things like this happen, after all, most developers have the best intentions to make great games. In this case, the failure of this game hits home, since I actually met with Vogster to help them plan for the launch of the game. Even then, it seemed that the writing was already on the wall.

With the game being released recently on PSN after a successful outing on the PC, we wanted to know what thoughts Frozenbyte had about bringing the game out on additional platforms, and sequel potential.

The following answers are from Lauri Hyvärinen, Designer and CEO of Frozenbyte.[nextpage]

With the positive reception you been having with the PC and PSN versions of the game, what are your plans on bringing the game to other gaming platforms like XBLA?
We have some plans for an XBLA version, but for the most part it's not for us to decide, so we really have to see what will happen. WiiWare and other platforms are probably not going

I been hearing about Trine for the last couple of months when it was first released on the PC. It’s been making waves in the gaming industry for being a beautifully designed game that featured some innovative gameplay mechanics. Ever since then, I’m waiting and holding tight for the day when it would come out on console. There was good reason why I waited, as the game is a platformer at heart, and such a game really needs to be experienced on a joystick.

Finally, after several months of porting, and then several more weeks of false starts and delays, the game is here in PSN. And it’s even better than I expected.[nextpage]

In case you haven’t heard about Trine, here’s what makes it stand out. It’s a combination of Little Big Planet + The Lost Vikings
