The Kartel had the chance to check out the Tony Hawk: Ride event here in the bay area. Activision brought the whole Tony Hawk crew out for a show and tell in the Metreon (when did the marquee Sony store close down???), with a special appearance by Mr. Hawk himself. I been to a number of these type of press events before, but I must admit, this one was by far one the best. We had a jolly good time.

So what about the whole extravaganza was so fun? It isn’t just one thing, it’s really how it all came together. All the little details that clearly showed someone thought of everything.
