I had a darn fun time playing Trine recently on PSN as you could tell from my review, so when the makers of the game just announced that they released a demo for the game, I can finally say you have no excuse not to try it now.

The demo includes the first 2 levels of the game, just enough to get you hooked. Best of all, you can play solo or in co-op mode with a buddy. I played through half the game in co-op with my wife, and it was some of the most fun I had in a while, which was quite unexpected. She's such new gamer, that playing anything co-op with her makes me want to stick hot pokers in my eyes.

$20 is a big commitment for the the full version of the game, so for all those on the fence due to the price, the demo just might change your perspective.

We already know that a Valkyria Chronicles 2 demo is coming out on November 2nd, but what will be in the demo? SEGA has given up some details.[nextpage]

The demo will have two modes, one is a training mode that teaches you how to play the game (good luck, its in Japanese) and the other is mission mode that allows us to try out the new ‘multi-area’ battle field system.

The demo will not allow saves or let you use the game’s network features (no trying out multiplayer sadly). But on the upside, the demo is small in size, only 80mb, so you can keep your Michael Bolton songs on your PSP!

The demo will be up on the Japanese Playstation Store on November 2nd and up on the Valkyria Chronicles 2 website on November 5th.
