    Someone working on the first drivable OutRun cabinet

    Garnet Hertz is taking his love for OutRun to another level, he is building a drivable OutRun cabinet. The cabinet actually renders on screen where you are driving using GPS sensors. Sounds a bit too fancy for me.

    The cabinet is modeled after a Ferrari Testarossa, and will be built on top of an EVT America Electric Trick with electric motors. The GPS sensors will be taken from an iPhone and will be combined with custom software that will display a map on the arcade screen in OutRun graphics.

    That's pretty sick. Pointless, but sick. I'd drive it on a go-kart track if I could.

    Also this new site is confusing the hell out of me. It's too busy all over the place. And my old username (TRAViS) is gone. :-(

    My question is, is this legal to drive? Sure he has a GPS to show him where he's going, but he needs to actually see the road too.
